In the middle of the city of The Hague is a district heating plant. During the planned maintenance of the stand heating, the buffer vessel had to be inspected and therefore had to be empty. The water that had been used in the system for years was of such poor quality that it could not simply be discharged onto the surface water. Rental Pumps took care of the transport, assembly and commissioning of the temporary pump installation. The water was treated by the installation so that it could be safely discharged. One of the components of the installation was a special aeration pump which can add more than 400m³ of air per hour. The water quality was constantly monitored and when discharged within the requirements per small quantities.
