Reykjavik Municipal Sewage Water Pump Station

Also in 2022 team Rental Pumps delivered their services for a project in Iceland. For the municipality of Reykjavik we transported, commissioned and operated a temporary sewage pump installation. A local sewage pump station was upgraded to meet current standards and during the upgrade a temporary sewage pump installation was required. The 3 x 135kW sewage water pumps have a combined output of 5400m³/hr. and are frequency controlled for automated operation. As a unique bonus the Rental Pumps pump engineers where treated with natures very own lightshow, the northern lights which are also known as the aurora borealis. The lights are the visible result of solar particles entering the Earth’s magnetic field and ionizing high in the atmosphere.
