Pumps For The Albert Canal

At the Belgium Albert Canal team Rental Pumps Belgium is undertaking one of its most challenging jobs to date. In a short time frame and at no less than 3 locations large volume submersible pumps need to be installed to keep the Albert Canal up to level. The pumps are located at different locks in the Albert Canal to bring the level back up to normal standards so that the effects of the drought are less harmful. This is important for e.g. shipping, cooling water for a variety of industries, the intake of drinking water facilities and preventing unwanted salination. And in case you are wondering, yes we pump upstream. Over 2.6Mw of pumping power has been installed which equals an output of around 22m³/sec.
